A biologist by education and an artist at heart, I have always been fascinated by Trees<\/strong>. Naturally, the world of Trees became central to my work when my hands first delved into clay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What began as a hobby during my career in healthcare has blossomed into a passion I now choose to fully embrace. As a largely self-taught ceramicist specialising in artistic ceramics <\/strong>, I create a world of \u2018Art.borescences\u2019 <\/strong>\u2013 from \u2018tree structures\u2019 in French \u2013 where Earth Comes to Life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Nature lover moved by its Beauty and Intelligence, I am deeply affected by the suffering we impose on it. My artistic universe, centered around the Tree \u2013 an emblem of Life and resilience \u2013 is meant as a tribute to Nature and its Living Beauty<\/strong>, inviting us to protect and cherish it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Positioning themselves at the top of the living world, humans have endeavoured to control and exploit it. In doing so, they have gradually become detached from Nature<\/strong> , which is however so vital<\/strong> to their existence. Today, as we stand by a wounded Nature, it is our duty to protect it and learn from its intelligence and resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through my art, I aim to reconnect us with the Beauty of Life<\/strong>, and in doing so, with our own original Nature, inviting us to cherish and preserve it. By bringing Nature into our homes<\/strong>, my artistic vision is an invitation to rediscover the symbiosis with the living world around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delicately sculpted and handcrafted, my unique pieces<\/strong> tell an organic story <\/strong> that unfolds in harmonious collections<\/strong>. Creating a distinctive decor that exudes serenity, they are designed to transform space<\/strong> into an inspiring sanctuary, a source of Emotion and Wonder, inviting us to Feel Well and to cultivate our Inner Nature.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What do my ceramic artworks look like?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Each sculpture displays a range of unique structures<\/strong>, inspired by Nature<\/strong>. There are always tree-like structures<\/strong>: branches, roots, ramifications of all kinds. There are also textures<\/strong>: bark, mosses, lichens, and other filaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I patiently shape all these structures and textures with clay<\/strong>, using no other material than the Earth, gradually letting the organic emerge from within the mineral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does an \u2018Art.borescence\u2019 take shape?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

I rarely start with a sketch. It's most often a representation that emerges in my mind<\/strong>, based on impressions and inspirations gleaned during my walks in Nature\u2014and in my imagination. An image is created, and it's when my hands delve into clay that this image takes shape\u2014comes to Life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The process is not linear\u2014clay has its own Nature; respecting it is essential, and I let myself be guided by it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
